Who is William Grindal?
William Grindal, was an English scholar. He was a tutor to Queen Elizabeth and a pupil and protégé of Roger Ascham at St John's College, Cambridge. He died of the plague. Grindal was Elizabeth's main Latin and Greek teacher during her younger years.
