Who is William H. Nicholas?
William H. Nicholas was an American Republican politician.
Born in Butler County, Iowa, Nicholas raised turkeys in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa and served in the United States Navy during World War I. Nicholas served in the Iowa House of Representatives in 1947. Later he served as Lieutenant Governor of Iowa in 1951-1953 and 1957-1959. He died in Mason City, Iowa.
