Who is William Ivey?
William Ivey was an Abstract Expressionist painter of the Northwest School. Born in Seattle, Washington, US, he received a Ford Foundation Purchase Award, a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, and was named artist of the year in 1983 by the King County Arts Commission.
