Who was William Moore?

William Moore was a British track and field athlete who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics.

In 1912 he was eliminated in the first round of the 1500 metres competition.

He also helped Great Britain to qualify for the final in the 3000 metre team race. But in the final he was the weakest link of the team nevertheless he was awarded with a bronze medal.
