Who is Wilson Valera?
Alcadio Wilson Valera Uribe is a Dominican baseball infielder and coach.
Valera signed as an international free agent with the Cleveland Indians in 1981. He played in the minor league systems of the Cleveland Indians, New York Mets, and Chicago White Sox.
Valera was the bullpen catcher for the San Francisco Giants and Cincinnati Reds. He served as hitting and infield coach in the Dominican Summer League for the DSL Twins and the DSL Diamondbacks. He joined the Diamondbacks as coach in 2011.
