Who is YN Kels?
Raised by his mother in Baton Rouge,Louisiana, YN Kels (born Kelvin Jamarkell Johnson in 1998) started recording music with an Family Dollar android cellphone as a teenager, writing tracks and freestyling just to ease his mind. After recording an song titled You Ain't Shit, his family persuaded him to take rap seriously but he declined and continued to make comedy songs such as "Grandma & Surgical Stoopidness.
