Who was Abdul Rahim Hatef?
Abdul Rahim Hatef was an Afghan politician. He served as Vice President during the last years of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. He was born in Kandahar.
Before the fall of Kabul, he was the acting President of Afghanistan for two weeks in April 1992, due to the overthrow of President Mohammad Najibullah.
He died 19 August 2013.
