Who is Abe Kakepetum?
Abe Kakepetum is a recognized Anishinaabeg painter, who began his paintings at age nine. He was born in northwest Ontario, Canada, Sandy Lake First Nation. Abe's artistic production mirrors his culture's faith. Abe works with the distinguished fashion designer, Linda Lundstrom, on her La Parka, attire sequence. He is also a vocalist, that has produced Gospel albums.
