Who is Agnete Carlsen?

Agnete Carlsen is a former Norwegian footballer, world champion and olympic medalist.

She debuted for the Norwegian national team in 1988, and played 97 matches for the national team. She played at the first Women's World Cup in China 1991, and won a silver medal with the Norwegian team, after losing the final to the United States. Four years later she won the world champion title at the 1995 FIFA Women's World Cup in Sweden, defeating Germany in the final match.

Carlsen received a bronze medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
