Who is Aitor Porres?
Aitor Rodrigo Porres is a Spanish musician, and is the bassist for the progressive metal band Relative Silence.
Born in Bilbao, Vizcaya, Porress started to play bass in a friends' band when he was 17 years old, giving his first concert three months later. About year and a half later he joined his first serious band WarCry. When he left the band he made a project with Dani Cabal on drums and Pablo GarcĂa on guitars, which would become the band where he currently works Relative Silence.
Aitor influences come from: ARK, Masterplan, Rage, Dream Theater, Symphony X and anything kind of jazz and fusion substyle like Weather Report, Dave Weckl Band, Richie Kotzen, etc.
