Who is Alejo Vidal-Quadras Roca?
Alejo Vidal-Quadras Roca is a Spanish Member of the European Parliament, and a radiation physicist. He was elected on the People's Party ticket and sits with the European People's Party group. On July 20, 2004 he was elected one of the 14 Vice-Presidents of the European Parliament. In 2014 he announced to leave People's Party for Vox. He was the front-runner in the ticket of Vox for the 2014 European Election.
Previously, to its European political duties, he has occupied several elected positions in Spain: he was councillor of the Barcelona City Council, Deputy in the Parliament of Catalonia and Senator in the Spanish Senate.
