Who is Alex Berry?
Alex Steele Berry is an American professional ice hockey right winger who plays for the HDD Olimpija Ljubljana of the Austrian Hockey League.
Berry was originally selected in the fifth round, 153rd overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs. On March 19, 2009, Berry signed a two-year, entry level contract with the Leafs.
On August 27, 2010, Berry was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning along with Stefano Giliati in exchange for Matt Lashoff.
On August 1, 2013, Berry left North America and signed a one-year contract in the Austrian Hockey League for Slovenian club, HDD Olimpija Ljubljana.
