Who was Ambica Banerjee?
Ambica Banerjee was a member of the 15th Lok Sabha. He was elected as a Trinamool Congress candidate from Howrah.
Banerjee was born in 1928 to Shri Anilmohon Banerjee and Shyama Devi in Sibpur, West Bengal. He graduated from Hatfield Technical College and became mechanical engineer.
In 2001, 1996, 1991, 1987 and 1982 state assembly elections, Ambica Banerjee won from the Howrah Central assembly seat. Banerjee died in Kolkata on 25 April 2013.
