Who is Anas Sarwar?
Anas Sarwar, MP is a British Labour Party politician and has been the Member of Parliament for Glasgow Central since 6 May 2010, succeeding his father Mohammad Sarwar, the first-ever Muslim MP in the UK.
He is the deputy leader of the Scottish Labour Party, and the chief coordinator of Labour's 2014 Scottish referendum campaign.
