Who is Anna Záborská?

Anna Záborská is a Slovak Member of the European Parliament. She was elected on the Christian Democratic Movement ticket and sits with the European People's Party group.

Záborská was the Chairwoman of the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality during the 6th legislature.

Anna Záborská, along with Tiziano Motti, authored written declaration 29, which asked the Council and the Commission to extend Directive 2006/24/EC in order to monitor search engine traffic under the pretexts of implementing an "early-warning system" for pedophilia.

She is pro-life. On January 24, 2011, she spoke at the March for Life held in Washington, D.C. addressing Eastern Europe's declining population and improving living conditions for women.
