Who is Anna Zofia Mackiewicz?

Anna Zofia Mackiewicz is a Polish politician, and currently is a Member of the Bydgoszcz City Council representing the 6th district. In the 1994 local election, she joined the Bydgoszcz City Council II term. In the 1998 election she was re-elected.

In the 2002 election, she was elected to the Bydgoszcz City Council IV term representing the 6th district. She polled 881 votes and was third on the Democratic Left Alliance-Labor Union list. She was a Chairperson of Education Committee and a member of Budget and Finance Committee and Health Policy Committee.

On 12 November 2006 she was elected to the Bydgoszcz City Council again. She got 1,937 votes in the 6th district, as candidate from the Left and Democrats list. She took office on 27 November 2006. She is a Chairperson of Family and Social Policy Committee and a member of Health Policy Committee and Education Committee.

In the 2009 European Parliament election she was a candidate of Democratic Left Alliance-Labor Union from Kuyavian-Pomeranian constituency.
