Anne Rigney

Who is Anne Rigney?

Anne Rigney is an Irish visual artist and sculptor. Her work is mainly abstract, using oil paint, watercolour, acrylic paint and found objects.

Originally from Mount Temple, County Westmeath, she works from a studio at her home in Knockcroghery, County Roscommon.

Her work is influenced by her surroundings of the rural Irish countryside where she lives and by her life experiences.

Rigney graduated from Athlone Institute of Technology, with a degree in art and design. She's a member of the Association of Artists in Ireland, and a co-founder of the professional art group Working Artists Roscommon.
