Who is Anne Sweeney?

Anne Sweeney, Co-Chair of Disney Media Networks and President of Disney-ABC Television group since April 2004 was born in Kingston, New York, Nov. 4, 1958. She earned her BA degree from College of New Rochelle and an Ed. M from Harvard University. In her current position, Sweeney is responsible for Disney's entertainment and new televisions properties globally. Before joining the Walt Disney Company in 1996, she was chairman and CEO of FX networks and before that she spent 12 years at Nickelodeon/Nick at Nite at various executive positions. Sweeney is also a board member of Lifetime Television, the Museum of Television and Radio, the Special olympics and an honorary chair of Cable Positive.
