Who is Anne Wolfe?

Anne Wolfe is an American politician. She was the 2004 Democratic Party candidate for the United States House of Representatives for New Jersey's Fifth Congressional District. She is married and lives in Mahwah, New Jersey.

Wolfe handily beat her only primary opponent, Frank Fracasso of Green Township, Sussex County, by a margin of more than 5–1.

Wolfe holds a degree in government with minors in American history and sociology from Lawrence University as well as certificates from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Yale University. She has announced that she would not run for the Democratic nomination for the House in 2006.

In the 2004 election, she received 122,259 votes or 41% compared to Republican Scott Garrett's 171,220 votes or 58% of the vote. Garrett had refused to debate Anne Wolfe several times over the campaign cycle.
