Who is Antony Marlow?
Antony Rivers Marlow, known as Tony Marlow, is a British Conservative former Member of Parliament.
Born in Greenwich, London, Marlow was educated at Wellington College and St Catharine's College, Cambridge, and gained Northampton North in the 1979 election, defeating Labour MP Maureen Colquhoun.
Marlow caught the attention of the media in 1995 when he was a conspicuous supporter of John Redwood at the press conference in which Redwood announced his challenge for the Conservative Party leadership against Prime Minister John Major.
Marlow lost his seat in the 1997 election to Labour's Sally Keeble.
