Who was Babe Birrer?
Werner Joseph Birrer was an American baseball pitcher. Birrer pitched in 56 games from 1955 through 1958 for the Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles and Los Angeles Dodgers. Birrer died at the age of 85 at the Brother's of Mercy Nursing Home in Clarence, New York on November 19, 2013.
