Barbara grew up in Toronto, Ontario and also has lived in Lyon, France and Montreal, Quebec. She attended Ryerson University's School of Journalism. Barbara was a radio host in Toronto and Montreal and has also worked at CTV, Toronto1, Citytv, CP24, SunTV and BikerTV. She played bass in the Toronto punk band Repeatoffender.
