Who was Brno Kabužić?

Count Bernard "Brno" Kabužić-Crijević was a count and general from the Austrian Empire. He was born in Dubrovnik in 1785. He was a descendant of an old Croatian noble family from the Republic of Dubrovnik, the House of Kabužić.

He graduated from an engineering academy. In 1803 he was oberlieutenant in the cartographic service, fastened 1806 Trieste, defended 1809 the passport lies and was assigned 1813 to the army of the Swedish Crown Prince. After diplomatic missions to the Joni islands, Albania and Montenegro working at Okkupation Neapels 1821 1827-19 with the prince of Hessen Homburg in Russian headquarters, in 1824 Major, in 1830 Obertslt. u.
