Who is Birte Christoffersen?
Birte Christoffersen is a Danish and later Swedish diver who competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics, in the 1956 Summer Olympics, and in the 1960 Summer Olympics.
She was born in Copenhagen.
In 1948 she represented Denmark and won the bronze medal in the 10 metre platform event. In the 3 metre springboard competition she finished ninth.
Eight years later at the 1956 Games while competing for Sweden she finished eighth in the 10 metre platform contest and ninth in the 3 metre springboard event.
At the 1960 Games she finished twelfth in the 10 metre platform competition.
