Who is Brad Kayton?
Brad is a 4HomeMedia co-founder and COO, and serves as the company'sEVP of
Marketing, Sales, and Business Development. Brad brings 18 years of
experience in marketing, sales, business development, and product
development, with most of that in products and services for service
providers. Prior to joining 4Homemedia, Brad co-founded and was CEO of
home automation software solutions developer Nearmedia. Prior to that,
Brad was VP of Marketing Business Development for PRISMIQ, a
first mover in the digital media adapter product category, and winner
of 16 Editor Choice and seven major “consumer product of the year”
awards in its first year on the market. Brad joined PRISMIQ through
their acquisition of Paros Software, a web services firm he co-founded
and was CEO. Earlier, he co-founded and was VP of Marketing
Online Services at 2Wire, a leader in broadband residential gateways
(over 11M units sold) and networking adapters. Brad was also the
Director of Video Products for Polycom for the market-leading
ViewStation product line ($3.5B in total sales), and he spent five
years at VTEL where he co-invented the world’s first hospital-compliant
two-way video telemedicine product. Brad began his career as a software
programmer, received an MBA and a MA in communication technologies from
the University of Texas in Austin, and a BA from the University of
Virginia where he was an Echols Scholar.
