Who is Brendan Griffin?
Brendan Griffin is a former Irish Fine Gael politician. A national schoolteacher by profession, he was an unsuccessful candidate at the 1969 general election. He was first elected to Dáil Éireann as a Fine Gael Teachta Dála for the Tipperary South constituency at the 1973 general election. He was re-elected at each subsequent general election until he lost his seat at the 1989 general election. He later served as a member of South Tipperary County Council.
