Brian Draper

Who is Brian Draper?

Brian G. Draper is a British brass band musician and conductor. He currently judges brass band contests around the Midlands as well as conducting the Bestwood Welfare Black Diamonds Brass Band.

He formerly taught music in schools around Nottingham before moving temporarily to Thailand and running his own orchestration business. He assumed the reins of Bestwood after bring requested to by the band's committee. Previous to his Thailand excursion, he had been their principal euphonium player. He can also play the trombone and is proficient at developing an embouchure for a variety of brass instruments.

Draper lives in Blidworth, just north of Nottingham.
