Who is Brodie Keast?
As senior vice president of marketing at Palm, Brodie Keast is responsible for the company's product strategy
and mobile-computing roadmap for consumers, mobile professionals and businesses, as well as for marketing and
brand-building aimed at expanding Palm's global presence.
Before joining Palm, Brodie served as senior vice president and general manager of consumer electronics at
Seagate Technology, the world's leading maker of hard drives. There, he was responsible for product-line
management, product marketing and strategy, market development and external partnerships. Prior to Seagate,
Brodie held a variety of executive positions at TiVo, Inc., the creator of and leader in television services
for digital video recorders, culminating in being its executive vice president and general manager of the
consumer division. Before his tenure at TiVo, Brodie was vice president and general manager of the DLTtape
Division at Quantum Corporation, selling to business customers.
Earlier in his career, Brodie held multiple product marketing roles at Apple Computer, Inc., including vice
president of PowerBook products and culminating as vice president of worldwide product marketing. Brodie
began his career at Hewlett-Packard Company, where he held various management positions.
Brodie received a bachelor's degree in computer science from California State University, Chico.
