Who is Bruce Connole?

Bruce Connole is an American singer, songwriter and musician originally from Phoenix, Arizona, whom is known for playing guitar and singing with various bands based in the Southwest United States.

Probably the most famous of Connole's groups is The Jetzons, which is considered to have helped establish the Tempe, AZ music scene. The band never gained much national notoriety, but Tempe would soon come to international prominence with the signing of many local bands to major record labels including multi-platinum recording artist the Gin Blossoms, who have acknowledged the Jetzons as a direct influence. Though the Jetzons was his most successful act, Connole has expressed dissatisfaction with the group, stating that they were a 'glorified cover band' and that the music did not reflect his actual sensibilities, instead being mostly a product of its time.

Connole has performed music in a wide variety of styles, including Punk rock, New Wave, Alt rock, Grunge, Bluegrass, and Honky tonk music. Additionally, Connole and former Jetzons bandmate Brad Buxer performed with Stevie Wonder on The Woman in Red soundtrack from 1984.
