Who is Bruce Heischober?
Dr. Bruce Sigurd Heischober, known as Dr. Bruce, born May 8, 1955, is a Board certified medical doctor specializing in emergency and internal medicine. He has published several works on substance abuse.
He graduated from Loma Linda University in 1979.
On the radio show Loveline Dr. Bruce frequently sat in for Drew Pinsky and was called Dr. Bruce or "Dr. Spaz" by Adam Carolla. He is not to be confused with Dr. Bruce Hensel, who is a medical, health and science reporter for KNBC, a television station in Los Angeles.
Dr. Bruce appears from time to time as a guest on Adam Carolla's daily podcast. Carolla's nickname for Dr. Bruce is "Dr. Spaz". Bruce is also the inspiration for the term "good lenses, bad frames" referring to a person who gives a bad first impression but is a good person or more competent than they appear to be.
