Who is Carmen Chu?

Carmen Chu is the Assessor-Recorder of San Francisco. Up until February 27, 2013, she was a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors representing District 4. In 2000, she earned a bachelor's degree in public policy from Occidental College, and in 2003, earned a master's degree in public policy from UC Berkeley. While in school, she worked in the Board of Supervisors' Office of the Legislative Analyst.
