Who is Carolyn Bolivar-Getson?
Carolyn Bolivar-Getson is a Canadian politician. She represented the electoral district of Lunenburg West in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 2003 to 2009 as a member of the Progressive Conservatives.
Prior to entering elected politics as a municipal councillor in Lunenburg County, she owned and operated a general store in Newcombville.
She served as Minister of Natural Resources and Minister responsible for the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act in the Executive Council of Nova Scotia as well as Minister responsible for Immigration.
Bolivar-Getson was defeated in 2009 by Gary Ramey NDP.
