Who is Claiborne P Deming?
Claiborne P. Deming, 54, was the Chief Executive Officer and President of Murphy Oil Corp. from October 1994 to December 31, 2008 and currently serves as an Executive Director and as chairman of the executive committee. Since 1987, he has served as Director of First United Bancshares and is the Treasurer of American Petroleum Institute Inc and a President of the El Dorado Education foundation. He also serves as a Member of the Tulane Law School Dean's Advisory Board and Member of the Business School Council for A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. Previously, he held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of MOUSA from 1992 to 1993 and President from 1989 to 1992.
