Who is Clarissa House?

Clarissa House is an Australian actress who played Beth Hunter Sutherland in the soap opera Home and Away.

She graduated from Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art with a degree in Performing Arts in 1987. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Theatre Arts degree from Perth's Curtin University

Before taking the role as Beth Hunter on Home And Away, Clarissa House played a small part as a council worker named Ms.Angelo. Ironically she was a friend of Shelley Sutherland whose husband married her character Beth Hunter later on in the show. Clarissa quit Home And Away in 2007 so she chould spend more time with her family. Clarissa has now joined All Saints, playing Julia Mayfair, Frank's carer.

She was born in Melbourne and raised in Perth, Western Australia.
