Who was Cristóbal de Villalpando?
Cristóbal de Villalpando was a Mexican painter, arts administrator and captain of the guard. He painted prolifically and produced many Baroque works visible in several Mexican cathedrals, including the cathedrals in Querétaro and Mexico City.
