Who is Curtis Feeney?
Curtis brings significant institutional investment and fundraising
experience to Voyager, as well as an extensive network of relationships
with leading companies and venture investors in Silicon Valley. Curtis
opened Voyager’s Silicon Valley office in 2000, has served on 13 boards
and currently serves on the board of directors of CB Richard Ellis
(CBRE: NYSE), Contivo, Tropos Networks, and Verari Systems.
Prior to joining Voyager in 2000, Curtis spent eight years as
Executive Vice President with Stanford University’s $9 billion
endowment, where he held responsibilities in private equity investing
and management, including oversight of the Stanford Research Park,
Stanford Shopping Center, portfolio policy, and venture investing
(carrying profit responsibility for about half of the Stanford
Management Endowment). The endowment grew from $1.5 billion to $9.0
billion during his tenure with Stanford. Prior to Stanford, Curtis
spent five years leading Trammell Crow’s northwest region based in
Seattle. He was responsible for $700 million in assets and ran the
company’s real estate development operations covering Seattle,
Portland, and Vancouver, B.C. Prior to joining Trammell Crow, he worked
in the semiconductor industry for Mostek Semiconductor and was in
research and development in the energy industry.
Curtis graduated magna cum laude from Texas AM University
with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He earned an M.B.A. from Harvard
Business School, where he was a Tandy Fellow and a Rockwell Scholar.
