Who is David Chambat?

David brings to TVtrip 10 years of experience in the travel

industry, including more than 5 years in Asia-Pacific. He started his

career in 1995 as marketing project manager for Air France in Germany.

From there he moved to Singapore to manage the marketing of the French

airline in South-East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. In 1998, he

moved to Tokyo to head the customer service and the direct sales of the

airline. He also started the e-business of Air France - the first

foreign airline to have a booking engine in Japanese. In 2001 he was

back in Europe to manage Air France’s distribution and on-line policy.

In 2004, he moved to Amsterdam to lead the integration of Air France

and KLM as General Manager for the Netherlands. In 2006 he returned to

Singapore where he graduated from the INSEAD MBA Program.

David is 34. He enjoys living, working and traveling in Asia. He is

passionate about the Asian culture and diversity. He is a keen runner

and swimmer and the father of two children.
