David Glenn Thibodaux was a respected English professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for 27 years, a member and officer of the Lafayette Parish School Board for twelve years, and a notable political figure and Republican candidate for the United States House of Representatives from Louisiana's 7th congressional district.
He was also an author of several books, including Political Correctness: The Cloning of the American Mind, and numerous articles and editorials.
