Who is Don Florence?
Donald Emery Florence is a former major league pitcher, who only pitched one season in the major leagues for the New York Mets.
He pitched 14 games that season for the Mets and complied an impressive 1.50 ERA but never pitched another major league game after 1995. He was originally signed by the Boston Red Sox as an amateur free agent in 1987 before signing with the Mets as a free agent in 1994.
