Donald Ray Wallace Jr., a 47-year-old white male, was executed by lethal injection at the Indiana State Prison in Michigan City, Indiana, on March 10, 2005. Wallace was found guilty of the 1980 murders of Patrick Gilligan, a 30-year-old white male, Teresa Gilligan, a 30-year-old white female, Gregory Gilligan, a 5-year-old white male, and Lisa Gilligan, a 4-year-old white female. Wallace, who was 22-years old when he committed the capital crime, was sentenced to death on October 21, 1982. He was executed in Indiana on March 10, 2005, at 12:23 a.m. by lethal injection.
