Wallace was found guilty of the 1980 murders of Patrick Gilligan, a 30-year-old white male, Teresa Gilligan, a 30-year-old white female, Gregory Gilligan, a 5-year-old white male, and Lisa Gilligan, a 4-year-old white female. Wallace, who was 22-years old when he committed the capital crime, was sentenced to death on October 21, 1982. He was executed in Indiana on March 10, 2005, at 12:23 a.m. by lethal injection.
