Who is Donna M. Jones?
Donna M. Jones, 20th Idaho state controller, was elected on November 7, 2006 and sworn into office by long-time friend and Idaho State Supreme Court Justice Jim Jones on January 1, 2007. The duties of the State Controller are outlined in Article IV, Section 1 of the Constitution of the State of Idaho.
Jones previously served twelve years in the Idaho House of Representatives which culminated in her being the first woman selected to chair the House Revenue and Taxation Committee. Jones was the first woman elected to serve as Idaho State Controller.
