Who was Donnchadh Ó Briain?
Donnchadh Ó Briain was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician. He was first elected to Dáil Éireann at the 1933 general election. He served as a Fianna Fáil Teachta Dála for the Limerick and Limerick West constituencies until 1969 when he retired from politics. He served in the governments of Éamon de Valera and Seán Lemass as Government Chief Whip.
