Who is Drake Witham?
Drake Witham is a Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian with multiple national televisions appearances.
Born in Ohio, he was raised in Arlington, Virginia. Witham graduated from the University of Washington and worked as a reporter for the Dallas Morning News before moving to Los Angeles in 2002 to pursue comedy. In 2003 he won the Seattle International Comedy Competition. He appeared on the first season of Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham in 2006 and has twice performed on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He also took third place in the Great American Comedy Festival in 2008 in Norfolk, Nebraska. The festival, in the hometown of Johnny Carson, included appearances from Dick Cavett, Robert Klein and Eddie Brill. His DVD, "We'll See", was released in 2006.
He has twice performed for the troops in Iraq through Comics on Duty as well as tours to Europe, Central America and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
