Who is Eeke van Nes?

Eeke Geertruida van Nes is a retired rower from the Netherlands, who won a total number of three Olympic medals during her career. A daughter of former Olympic silver medalist Hadriaan van Nes, she won the bronze medal in the women's double sculls in Atlanta, United States alongside Irene Eijs, followed by the silver four years later in Sydney, Australia with Pieta van Dishoeck. She retired from international rowing after the Sydney Olympics.
