Who was Ellen Ahrndt?

Ellen Ahrndt [″Babe″] was an American second basewoman who played briefly in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League during the 1944 season. Ahrndt batted and threw right-handed. Sometimes she is credited as Ellen Proefrock.
