Who was Enbaqom?
Abba 'Ěnbāqom was a religious leader of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, and translator and author, e.g., of the Anqaṣa Amin. As Abbot at the leading monastery of Debre Libanos he became the Echage, the second highest eclessiastical office, as well as head of all Ethiopian monasteries, and often regarded as the most influential person in the Ethiopian Church.
