Who is Euspicius?

Saint Euspicius was a Gallo-Roman saint. The Frankish king Clovis gave him and his nephew Maximinus the domain of Micy, near Orléans at the confluence of the Loire and the Loiret, in order to establish a monastery in 508. Euspicius became its first abbot and when he died, he was succeeded by his nephew.
