Who is Fadel Muhammad?
Fadel Muhammad Alhaddar is an Indonesian politician and businessman of Arab-Indonesian descent. He was appointed as the Governor of the then-newest Indonesian province, Gorontalo, for the period 2001-2006. In 2006, he won the first Gorontalo gubernatorial election, making him governor until 2011. On October 22, 2009, he was chosen and inaugurated as the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and terminated On October 19, 2011 replaced by Sharif Cicip Sutardjo, His Colleague in Golkar Party.
