Who was Fausto Acke?

Fausto Acke, born Fausto Padovini, was a Swedish gymnast who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics.

Born in Rome, Italy he was adopted in 1903 by family friends after his parents died during some health epidemic. He was adopted by J.A.G. Acke, the Swedish Impressionist, and his wife Eva.

He was part of the Swedish team, which was able to win the gold medal in the gymnastics men's team, Swedish system event in 1920.
