Who was Ferdinand Jodl?

Ferdinand Alfred Friedrich Jodl was a German Wehrmacht officer, who notably served as the General der Gebirgstruppe of Mountain Corps Norway during the Petsamo–Kirkenes Offensive. He was the brother of Alfred Jodl, the German military commander who after the war was executed as a war criminal, and later acquitted by a German court.
